Virginia Wine and Virginia Wineries are defined by the unique environment of Villa Appalaccia Winery. We are located on the Blue Ridge Parkway close to Floyd VA, Greensboro and Winston-Salem NC and Roanoke VA. The Italian Villa is situated with stunning views and a relaxing environment and one mile from Chateau Morrisette Winery. We predominantly grow Italian grape varieties and make award-winning Virginia Wine from Sangiovese, Primitivo, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia wines as well as extraordinary Cabernet Franc and Aglianico. This year we will be releasing the first Corvina/Rondinella (Amarone) in the USA! Our vineyard is one of the few in VA not planted on clay but shale (Gallestro), with the result that our Virginia Wine is unique and true to the Italian heritage. We have a wood-fired brick oven for special-event weekends, an Italian music garden for relaxation and entertainment and as always, our Bocce court is available.
